This period property in Ealing West London had the original windows in place and unique detailed architraves. We paid close attention to the design and the paint finish of the wooden sash windows present and made sure that our design blended in with the overall look.

Shutters on sash windows are common practice for us but every window has its own unique design and requires its own unique approach. We used a “natural white” paint finish with a beaded detail on the shutter panels, this blended very well with the painted architraves and window frames. The horizontal frames that divided the glazing were met with our mid rails on the shutter panels, emulating the window design where possible.
